We can’t look forward without examining where we’ve been and where the movement stands today. We’ll kick off the panel with an examination of the modern women’s movement–the struggles women faced, how we organized and some of the battles won and lost. We’ll view it through the prism of some of the longtime leaders of the feminist movement as well as women leaders who have built careers in media and the emerging media space and social networks of the Internet.
