Access to the workforce is no longer the problem it was in the early era of feminism. Yet women. whether they self-identify as feminists or not, still face distinct problems (particularly in today’s challenging economic environment). In this new era of the Internet and a revived progressive movement, how we can collaborate on an inclusive economic agenda that reaches all working women?

There’s a group of feminists, both academics and economics as well as some indy media folks, who are informally working on an agenda re. the stimulus – name is being worked out at the moment. Any outreach being done there?

Jennifer — that’s a great idea. Would you e-mail me specific names at suzanne [at] turnerstrategies [dot] com? I think the panel is assembled, but I’ll talk to the organizers to try to get other folks on it. Thanks for the suggestion.
