Thanks so much, Jon, for some great advice. Yes, there's been quite a lot of interest in setting up a wiki, but HOW has kept our wheels spinning, and now we have some solid leads. Stay tuned!

Alas I can't make it to tonight's Twittercast, but wanted to tee a couple of things up. One's a follow-up to my suggestion from last week on looking for short-term actions that would have an impact -- and noticing that the "Howard Dean for HHS" Facebook group has gotten some media coverage with only 6000ish members, which isn't that many at all. [For calibration, Shelby Knox' "Sarah Palin is not Hillary Clinton" group got over 20000 members last summer in just a few days.] What about starting up a similar effort for a woman for Commerce Secretary and promoting it via blogs?

The second relates to getting going on a wiki. I think this could help collect resources (including a lot of the great discussion going on) and start turning things into actionable plans. It only took me a few hours to set up the #p2 wiki, and a couple of people have already said that the info on the "Twitter" page is useful. Feel free to reuse anything there (for example if you decide to host on Wetpaint initially the "Getting Started" page might be helpful). For that matter if you would like to temporarily incubate the #fem2 wiki there, that would be wonderful.

And speaking of #p2, we'd like to extend an invitation to the #fem2 community to get involved. Feedback welcome on The #p2 Hashtag and Strategies for Progressives on Twitter, the article Tracy Viselli and I did for The Exception, especially on the possibilities of Twitter being a place where progressives can engage with " to engage with communities currently marginalized by the "progressive blogosphere"" (as we describe in the article). We'll be having a Tweetup sometime this week, details TBD. And if there's stuff you think is likely to be of interests to progressives who prioritize diversity, please send it to #p2!

Thanks much,
